Sleep Inn Frederick - Ballenger Creek

New renovations, nice fresh paint. Bed not to comfy but lady at the desk told me on November 28,2025 that all new mattresses were coming in the near future. So that's a plus. Can't complain at all for the nice clean place and a wonderful price ( You get even a better deal if you book 3rd party) Just an FYI

Clean comfortable stay friendly staff. the only negative was that we got in late at night and the front desk person said breakfast was served til 10,but when i went down at 9:20 everything was put away and I was told it ended at 9.The person working there did offer me some tiny muffins,which was a nice gesture,but I had booked hotel partially to have breakfast ,so we did not have to stop once we left.

Asked for clean sheets and towels to be brought up, was told by one of the house keeping staff "No, we dont clean today. We clean tomorrow." Went to the desk and asked they said yes, made a note and spoke with house keeping. I come back over 2 hours later and nothing has been done, 2 more hours of waiting and still no one has brought me clean sheets. Upon arrival one bed was missing a pillow, no body wash and an empty shampoo bottle in the shower. The curtains are so old they have holes in them and the the TV is too old to connect to the internet and has no modern input connections only 49 channels of basic cable. Wifi connection okay at best. Worth it in a pinch I guess, bring soap lol.

The location was great for our purposes. It was convenient to downtown Frederick, easy to access, and there was plenty of parking. Also, the beds were unusually comfortable, as were the pillows. We both got excellent sleep.||There were a lot of little things that could have been better, but nothing out of the ordinary for a budget hotel. Also, they are undergoing renovation, so there was some construction noise, but nothing unbearable.||The weirdest and worst thing was that for some reason they had decided to turn all the room minifridges down to the warmest setting, and then remove the knobs so they couldn't be adjusted. This essentially rendered the fridge unusable - we wound up getting a lot of ice from the machine and treating it more like a cooler. When I called to ask for someone to

Pretty decent hotel for the price. You can't complain about the breakfast. Easy in and out on highway. Staff very friendly.
