Homewood Suites by Hilton Frederick

The rooms are in much needed repair. Soft surfaces have old stains on them that no one has attempted to lean or replace. The desk chair had crumbs of something in it. If you love to rest, don’t get a room on the first floor. The doors slam all morning and the dogs bark too. Breakfast was nice. Customer service was awesome.

We stayed here two separate times on our trip to our destination and back. The first time we stayed, the water in the shower would not heat up. The second time was absolutely horrible. The bed sheets were stained, the couch was stained, and the shower was full of cracks and very outdated and just gross. Why are they using stained sheets? The ceiling fan was dusty. Definitely skip this hotel, especially since there are many other "suite" type hotels around. There's a town place suite across the street that I'm sure is much nicer.

Location was nice near shopping,downfall is the railroad tracks in the area and the 2:30 A.M. train that came through, being near the highway road noise was very loud. Room was very clean, the bad part was the contential breakfast which didn't open on time ( was 10 minutes late ) had to go up to the front desk to get the breakfast doors open. The breakfast was horrible beginning with the scrambled eggs and the sausage sandwich thing was horrible.

We were extremely disappointed by MANY things. Booked a one bedroom suite. TV in the living area did not work. Since it was late evening, there was no one around to fix it. We were willing to switch rooms and/or check out but were told neither was an option - we had only been in the room for 30 minutes. We were going to lose our room rate. (almost $300!) Also, there were stains on the sofa and chair in living area as well as the bathroom floor. Next morning I realized the coffee maker had not been cleaned out. I had to clean out the pod and pot myself. Not an appealing thing at 5am. And the breakfast - a whole other story - cold, waxy scrambled eggs/cold, salty potatos/no bacon or sausage offered. That was pretty much it along with cold cereal, no fruit, no yogurt in the fridge, a little

Been staying exclusively at Hilton Hotels for business and pleasure for the past 30+ years and there’s a first time for everything. First time the 4pm check in time was not respected. First time we had to wait an hour for the dishwasher to finish cleaning the dishes of the previous guest such that WE could empty it. First time we had to hang a shower curtain because one was not available when we entered the room. It’s clear that the staff is trying their bery best but our experience speaks for itself. Fortunately for us Hilton brand has always been outstanding, but this location will definitely not be a repeat for us.
