Don't be fooled by the reception area & the friendly welcome - check the room before accepting the keys.||Alcatraz has bigger rooms & more furniture! The towels are the smallest I have ever seen & were so thin they would not dry a whole body. The shower curtain is glued to the shower base. No bedside lighting, air conditioner struggles to work.||Worst room I have ever stayed in.

Decient, new Management and hands on ownership the have made some nice upgrades to the rooms, new flooring /,paint /ammenities. security lights and broken fences repaired have stopped the unwanted traffic of derilicts. I recently rented a apt there for a year. The improvements are fantastic and were well needed.The on site maintenance man is on call and any issues were resolved in a timely Manner. DON'T HESITATE TO GIVE THEM A SHOT. GREAT LOCATION. QUIET, FRIENDLY EASY ACCESS TO CASINOS OR HEAVENLY OR THE LAKE. REASONABLE PRICE FOR THE LAKE.

As a former resident there - run!!! Icy parking lot with almost non-existant snow removal and ice melt. Day & night drug deals, hot/cold water problems, lumpy horrible beds with who knows what kind of bugs. Management seldom on-site, noisy - close to a very run down motel "Trout Creek" where a women crows like a rooster everyday @ dawn! Not recommended - definitely not a peaceful, lovely "Julia's Mountain Pad" as claimed.

The owner and management have worked hard to make this a decent place. It's a great little community and we all look after each other. James, the maintenance man, fixes any problem you have. He is cheerful and friendly. This is a great place to live.

This is not a motel, it is a low budget apt house for the mentally ill!!! The owner prays on people who are on fixed income. He is a married man how has been caught cheating at least three times!!!!! If you value your money stay the heck away from this place!!!!
