The Airport expansion is very much improved. Takes full advantage of the amazing view. Some construction still going on in the baggage claim area, this will be a wonderful airport for Sitka.
I think TSA check-in begins at/around 0430 earliest (today at least I know it does).
Wow, entrance rough now during construction but could spend a day past the gate enjoying the new waiting area🤩incredible soul inspiring views.
The staff was great a very helpful with the totes iI shipped back. Small airport and I mean the runway is a little strip in the middle of the ocean. But Alaska Airlines is awesome.
Flight was 3 hours late and received food voucher in restaurant/bar area. Very friendly staff
