Raven's Peek Bed & Breakfast

The best trip I have ever been on thanks to them! Every morning I would wake up excited to eat the food they provide, they could have easily left fruit and toast but they made a 2 course amazing homemade meal every morning. The sweetest people. The best stories. And the best house.

Sitka is a special place, surrounded by nearly unimaginable natural beauty, but is sorely lacking in accommodations. Luckily, there is the Raven's Peek. We stayed in the Treehouse which, to put it mildly, is one of the most unusual lodgings I have encountered in my many travels. Four levels with bunk beds on the lower level, a small kitchen and bathroom situated on the entry level, a tiny sitting area on the third level, and the "master bedroom" on the top floor, the beds are first rate, and the bathroom features a shower stall with multiple lighting options, a built-in radio and more. Its aesthetic will not be to the liking of all-it is cluttered with animal hides, taxidermy deer heads, and such---common enough in these parts, but which I personally find off-putting. This is our 3rd stay at Raven's Peek. Stays there just keep getting better and better! Mike and Marilyn are gracious hosts with amazing breakfast offerings and stories. They will tailor to your requests (allergies to certain foods.)|Comfortable beds, plenty of space and Mike will pick up and take you back to the airport. Mike and Marilyn run a fantastic B and B - they truly make your stay special! We stayed in the Ravens Release suite - the view was amazing, the mattress comfortable, and the room immaculately clean. Mike makes breakfast each morning and all four mornings we had there were perfect. ||||Plenty of outdoor space to hang out with friends and family as well as two other cabins on the property for others to stay in if you're traveling in a group. Wifi was good and strong, a nice plus!||||Long story short - you need to stay here if you're visiting Sitka. You won't be disappointed!

What a wonderful stay.||Great breakfast. Loved the personal/private hit tub & sauna. Car rental available was so convenient, as was nearby public transit.
