Sister Bay Inn

Our room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Owners were hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was what we expected being that it was “continental” so did not have the typical eggs, sausages and waffle or pancake machines. We had a second floor balcony and liked that. We overlooked the back pool, fire pit and area with tables and umbrellas. Fire pit was on in the evening. The property was beautiful with a lot of flowers. There was also a hot tub which we did not use.|The only somewhat negatives were a very loud fan in bathroom. We used our own night light by sink so we did not have to turn on the light/fan during the night. Sliding patio door screen could maybe use new screening.|Breakfast area was always clean and had a modern feel with an aquarium. For us, we were gone during

I came to Door County for a wedding but could not get a room or cabin at the location of the wedding. Sister Bay was recommended to me by the hotel where I could not get a room. Unbeknownst to me I booked through Bookings.com. I was so upset by the size of the room ( I thought I had reserved a two bed room. However, the room was very clean and the owners were so accommodating that it made up for the small room. The grounds are lovely and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. It's in an ideal location. I would recommend this inn for your stay. Just book directly.

We took a spur-of-the-moment cycle trip to Door County. It was our third stay at Sister Bay Inn. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean with quality bedding and towels. It was late in the season so the pool was closed. The hot tub was open. We enjoyed a 3 hour visit in the evening around the fire pit talking with five new "friends" we'd never met before from Wisconsin and Iowa. Highly recommend this hotel off the busy streets.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Sister Bay Inn. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. We spent a lot of time in the lovely pool and hot tub. There’s also a fire pit and plenty of open space for kids to play. The location is a little bit outside the center of town, but walkable. The continental breakfast was a good way to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, answered all our questions and made helpful recommendations on things to do around town.
