Birchwood Lodge - Sister Bay

Really lovely stay at Birchwood. Location is perfect and walking distance from many shops and restaurants - even a supermarket. Room was very spacious and super clean.

Spent six days in a village home just to get away and had a delightful time. The staff is friendly and service outstanding. Door County in November is quiet yet we found many of our favorites open and the weather quite mild. The indoor pool was spotless and the whirlpool relaxing to rest up even further. My understanding is the whole lodge has new mattresses--ours did and they were so comfortable!! WE WILL BE BACK!!

My Husband & I stayed here for the sister bay fall fest. It was the perfect location! We were able to walk downtown sister bay and to Piggly Wiggly. Only 5 minutes away. The room we rented was beautiful, very clean! It was furnished with the basic kitchen & bath necessities. The amenities were great! The front desk staff were very friendly, welcoming, and very helpful!! We will be stay here again for sure!!

We started our trip and ended with friendly staff. Great customer service! Location is walkable to many great shops and restaurants/coffee. Only a 10 minute drive to beautiful Peninsula State Park. Room was clean and comfortable-was nice to have the fireplace!

Birchwood Inn was a great place to stay. Went to celebrate NYE, Dec 31, 2025. We left the hotel at 11:45pm walked to town where the celebration took place, arrived in time to watch the Cherry Drop, cheer and celebrate. Since it was only 3 degrees and windy, we stayed just a few minutes before we walked back to the Birchwood Inn. The Cherry Drop was right across the street from the bowling alley.
