Simply Stay Inn and Suites

My husband & I stayed last night, a stop over on our way to Springfield. Do NOT let them put you in Room 132! Bed bugs tore us up!

Excellent hospitality, Rooms are very clean, Reception staff are very polite, welcomes warmly their guest that is my personal experience and I seen how they take care of other guests that checked in while I was there

Manager opened our door after midnight while we were sleeping and said he was checking to see if room was available, they said an error was made at check in plus the bathroom was nasty and the entrance door had a gap on the bottom. They would not give reimbursement only discount off next stay and that will never happen. Avoid this hotel.

The staff was rude. The doors to all the room have cracks in it where it gets to cold at night and you could see right through them. Already a not so great area to live in. The floors were nasty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned or swept. The heater wasn't even very warm. We have 4 people in a 2 bed, when I asked for towels they gave me 2. Two days later I walked over to the front desk and asked for Four big towels. She handed me one and proceeded to say that they gave me two towels already. I told her that she had gaven me them two days ago and we have 4 people who need to take showers. She told me to wait while she went to get more. She came back with 2 floor towels that wouldn't even fit around my head. The first day I went to plug in my charger on the lamp by the beds, everythin

Not overly expensive but they did charge $20 for our cat. The rooms melt damp and moldy and of cigarette smoke too. The bathroom was not functioning well and the bathtub would not drain. Not enough linens or towels for the bathroom. There was a big God awful fridge in the suite that belonged in a three bedroom apartment. Don't forget the person at the front desk was nice enough. This hotel needs a massive renovation
