La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Conway

This is the review I tried to provide directly to Conway La Quinta. We checked out Friday 1/2/26. No one at the desk, left key card in the basket. As far as our satisfaction with our stay...we did not leave pleased. Your facility needs to address the notable grunge on your upholstered furniture, (in guest rooms, dining area, etc.) Your painters have left paint smudges & 'over' paint areas on ceilings, tile work, etc. Your front desk wall decor is now missing several areas of the overlay pieces, (front desk kinda sets the tone.) Your breakfast prep staff is not timely nor attentive to the breakfast bar needs, whether it be sufficient flatware, serving utensils, food serving temperature & condition/quality. Easily one of the weirdest hotel experiences I’ve had. Upon checking in, they tried to run my card again even though it was paid for upon booking (and a posted payment already on my statement). I was “upgraded” to a dingy, musty room. The window curtains had been eaten by moths and there was a dead roach stuck on the top of the window/along the fabric. Housekeeping came by only to replace towels, but didn’t neaten the room at all. When I was leaving, one of the hotel staff kept whistling at me as if catcalling me and I just ignored him. Everyone is doing the bare minimum here. There are at least 4 other hotels within 100 feet here, go to any of those.

Positive: "" Negative: The room was dirty when I arrived i asked for extra towels because they couldn't clean the room and they gave me towels that they use in the pool area. The staff said they didn't have clean towels. The staff couldn't clean the room.

Extreme safety and health hazard – Do not stay here. I usually leave positive or fair reviews, but this stay was genuinely terrible and unsafe. From the moment I arrived, the service was unprofessional; the front desk clerk was distracted by his phone, disrespectful, and struggled to complete the check-in. The environment was chaotic and frightening. I heard constant screaming and crying from other rooms, and the police were called that night due to the noise. The room itself was filthy: • Hygiene: Found used underwear under the bed and the room smelled like sour rot. • Pests: Roaches were crawling out of the sink and into the toilet. • Maintenance: The TV cable was ripped out, outlets didn't work, and the lights flickered constantly. • Health: The AC unit blew so much dust that I develope

The beds were hard as a rock, the shower had almost no water pressure, and the desk in the room had rusty legs. I could have overlooked those issues if it weren’t for what happened at breakfast. My wife’s back was hurting from the bed, so she stayed in the room. I made her a small plate to bring back so she could eat comfortably. The man working the front desk physically blocked my path and told me he wouldn’t allow me to take the food upstairs. As a result, I ended up throwing the food away. It wasn’t about the breakfast — it was about basic courtesy and understanding. There was no compassion, no flexibility, and no attempt to accommodate a guest dealing with discomfort caused by their own beds. Very disappointing
