Sierra Skies RV Park

We enjoyed really enjoyed our stay here. Our original spot was in direct sun (end spot near storage) and it was hot! So we asked to move to a shady, open spot and it wasn't an issue. I wouldn't recommend this place for really long RV's but for our van it was super easy. Very clean and quiet. Nice hike down to the swimming hole with a small beach. We had a great chat with Linda about books! Michael was helpful when I had a question about hooking up, he came right up to help. Linda recommended the moose cafe for breakfast and we were so glad we went. There isn't a lot of privacy between the spaces, but it wasn't that big of deal for us. Overall a great little getaway for us.

This is a great little RV park up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. They have very clean restrooms with 2 flush toilets and two showers each, and a small coin operated laundry room. They have WiFi and will help you park your RV. We brought our Starlink and it works ok. There are a lot of trees as to be expected being the the mountains, so coverage seemed to drop every ten minutes or so. Very close to the river and walking distance to a small convenience store. We will definitely be coming back.

It is unclear why there are so many positive reviews, but the campground was disappointing. We arrived around 1:00 PM and departed by 2:00 PM. The campground is situated on a narrow side road off Main Street, behind a storage building. The campsite sites are extremely small, insufficient to accommodate all outdoor cooking equipment. We felt like sardines in a can. We barely managed to park our camper due to the campground’s limited space. It is strongly advised against arriving with a larger camper and truck.|There is a steep path leading to a small swimming hole, but it is imperative to wear appropriate footwear. There is no cellular service or Wi-Fi available. The scenery is unfortunately lacking, which would have made the experience more enjoyable. We departed and relocated to a Nationa

Our first time here and it was fantastic. Linda and Mike were incredibly kind and great ground managers. They were awesome with the kids, letting them play with their dog and took them around in the golf cart. Awesome hosts! The grounds were nice and quiet, but we ended up in a spot next to another family with children, so our kids were able to make friends and have fun all day. The swimming hole was great, and there were plenty of little spots around the campground to explore. We absolutely will be back!

Every now and then a business deserves a higher rating than five stars so I am adding five more stars ××××× to give them a 10-star rating! The managers and their granddaughter were wonderful and for our first experience at an RV camp it was great! Our little Yorkie said to say hi again!
