Been going here every year since I was a baby. This place is a hidden gem in the Sierra's with an amazing view of the Sierra Buttes. They have good fishing and boat rental prices are reasonable. Unfortunately I haven't been able to stay IN their cabins for several years because they are usually always booked up, but I go camping in the area and always come here to fish and relax.

Can’t speak for an overnight stay, although it looks like a lot of happy campers.||||However, the dinner experience is a delight. Early or late reservation for two seatings in the summertime. Arrive in time to enjoy cocktails on the lake in the boathouse. Idyllic setting. We once saw a battle for a fish between an osprey who had it and a dive-bombing bald eagle who wanted it. I5 minutes of action and we had to go in to dinner.||The dinners are always well prepared and offer above average selections. The ||atmosphere in the rustic lodge is relaxed, friendly and enjoyable. Wait-staff is friendly ||and more than competent and helpful. ||We have stayed in Graeagle many summers and never miss a visit to this special spot. ||Remember: Cash only...or a check will do it.||Highly recommended. ||||(

Pleasant little place. Great view with the lake and sierra buttes rising behind it. Good stop after the Sierra buttes lookout hike.

A must see place tucked away in Sierra foothills. Great spot to fish and build great memory’s. Upper sardine lake is beautiful and worth the drive (MUST HAVE 4X4) the hike is just as beautiful. They have small boats that you can rent and enjoy a day of fishing.

Wow, what a hidden gem! We enjoyed the cocktail bar at 5:30pm. It was busy when we arrived but when people started heading to their dinner reservation we had the place to ourselves. Great drinks, the bartender was generous and so friendly. The views are unbeatable. Definitely a memorable spot!
