Kokanee Kabins

Although they are called "Kabins", they are more like motel rooms with fully-equipped kitchens and bathrooms. The setting is woodsy and cozy. A nice large propane BBQ is available along with outside seating so there is no need to travel off the property for meals. The owners, Jeff and Lisa, are friendly, helpful, and fun and the price is right. It was a perfect place to rest before setting out on the next leg of the Pacific Crest Trail. You'll need to call to make a reservation because there is no website.

Stayed there around 4th of July for a few days. They are dog friendly and one of the best deals in town. The rooms are on the small side but you have a huge yard in front of the room with picnic tables, grill and a firepit. They supply firewood and we had great time sitting by the fire. Rooms also have kitchenettes, just bring your groceries - the stores are far apart in this area and it may be hard to find some items. The keepers live on the property and are very helpful.

Kokanee was a great experience. Ashley and her family were lovely, prompt hosts who answered all questions and made themselves available at the drop of a hat.||||I will say that the Kabins are more kitschy-cute, than "luxury" but honestly, what do you expect with a cabin that's just outside a town that has no more than 200 people nor reception?? Overall, the nightly price felt fair.||||My crew and I appreciated the full kitchen most for cooking wholesome meals. The beds were fine, as were the fans that kept the room cool. The lawn was also great for doing yoga in the morning or sitting around a campfire. OH, and there's a river a short walk away!||||I will certainly be back. Thanks again!

This place takes you back in time to when you wanted to get out and have a great time with family.The cabins take you back to the fiftys,I liked the place and the couple that run it,they went out of the way to help me with my stay

Very rustic. Very inexpensive. Good location.
