We had the most glorious time here last August. The staff is amazing. We had two kinds of trout on different nights and they were absolutely the best trout dinners we've ever had. The Dining Room is lovely, the atmosphere is serene and it's location perfect for day adventures in the area. We were so grateful to the owners who lit fires for us in the evening and accommodated our every whim. We plan to go again next summer.

Sierra Pines Resort, Cindy, Glen, and staff are the best! We had an early summer wedding here, and it could not have been a better venue. Our guests getting to experience a mountain getaway and being a part of our wedding is a priceless experience. Cindy, Glen, and staff never made us feel like we were a burden, and they all do SO much! There are too many good things that we have to say: the food, the grounds, the service, all of it was incredible. Thank you for letting us have our wedding here!!

Stayed here for 2 nights in room 9. The room had a great view of the river and the waterfall on the other side. Despite all the rooms being occupied, we never heard any noise from the rooms adjoining us. We did get quite cold in the mornings and found the only way to turn on the baseboard heater was to crawl under the desk. The bathroom was very small and the floor of the shower was in need of serious cleaning. We had breakfast and dinners there both days and they were outstanding, especially the lamb chops. Service was terrific and friendly. We certainly will be returning next year.

If you need to get away from it all this is DEFINITELY the place to go, a slice of heaven if you will, Way up high in the hills among the breathtaking forest and the running river, nature at its finest! You can also bring your pup if you wish and they will love it! Across the street from the lodge is a fantastic place to walk your dog for potty breaks and it’s so beautiful and well kept! You can also just sit on a bench and relax! There are Bbq grills there also, great for a picnic. The lodge itself is clean and you get a wonderful balcony where you can sit and see the forest and river and it’s a great relaxing place to have coffee. It is just cozy and welcoming here. There is a pond with beautiful rainbow trout in it and you can buy food to feed them. They have a wonderful restaurant whic

This was a fantastic find. The rooms are cozy and are situation in several separate little buildings. Nice new bathrooms. And a fireplace!. The entire resort has a deck with a commanding view of the fast flowing Yuba River below.
