Shoreham Hotel

The rooms are so outdated our bathroom was very very small stand up shower is a challenge because it's so small. I'm 5' 6 1/2" 225 lbs and it was a bit of a challenge getting in and out of the shower. There's no elevators for those who have wheelchairs and for those that can't climb steps. Parking was good right by the hotel.

The hotel staff were great & very helpful! There is no elevator so the steps were definitely a "workout" and the hallways were very hot. The room was clean & the ac was very cold!! Since the hotel is right on the boardwalk, it was extremely convenient for myself & my kids! Nice place. I would stay here again.

There is no early check-in but they let us check out 2 hrs early. We had a 2nd floor ocean view room & the view was great! The small room had a refrigerator next to the only sink. The bathroom & the square shower is way too small. Not a lot of room. We had to go next to the shower to close the bathroom door to get to the toilet. The water stayed hot. The AC was working well. The Tv was burry. We had to go around the building to get on the boardwalk. It was hard to carried our luggage down the narrow staircases when we checked out. The creaking floors are not straight. The music from the bar down below was loud when we walking on the 1st floor at nights but we couldn't hear the music on the 2nd floor.

Although the stairs could be a bit much , the rest was great! Very old building and sparsely decorated, I found it quite comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the water was always hot. It was also very clean.The view was beautiful and very interesting at times. The restaurant downstairs is a well kept secret! Their food was fantastic and reasonably priced. I would stay there again, just maybe on the second floor. Diane was wonderful to talk to. She knows a lot of local history!

We came for the beach and ended up in a room so tiny we had to shove our suitcases in the closet and turn sideways just to walk — free cardio included. The toilet was so low I thought I’d accidentally booked a preschool. The water was basically at eye level with my… lower regions, threatening an impromptu dip in the Atlantic. They moved us to a “bigger” room, which was bigger in square footage but not in common sense. The beds now faced each other like a strange couples therapy experiment, and the TV was in a position where you literally couldn’t see it from the bed. Forget relaxing — just try to figure out how to watch your favorite show without summoning a chiropractor. Need an elevator? That’s adorable.
