Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel

It's old and depressing...guess that's what you expect from a US Sheraton property these days in this price category. Bed comfortable, coffee machine and 2 bottles of water (for Bonvoy members maybe) in the room, real glasses! (that is the only "luxury" touch I guess), decent toiletries . So technically nothing to complain about. ||The stuff were nice to me, no complaints there. The receptionist guy didn't even get up lol and said the receipt would be send to me - it was promptly and it was correct. ||Glad I left for the airport early though...the new terminal is nice to kill an hour or two.

Positive: Location. Helpful front desk staff. Negative: First room had something in air (pet dander?) that made breathing uncomfortable. I asked to move to a room where no pets might have been. was quickly moved to top floor, assured no pets were there- but carpet was shredded near door as from a dog.

Close to the airport and the employees are nice and helpful. Low rating because the hotel is outdated and NOISY. You can hear traffic and people all night, the walls are made out of cardboard. Definitely not worth the price if you can hear someone whispering in the room next to you.

Awfully inhospitable for a hospitality establishment. Airport parking but a shuttle with limited hours? Why did we pay extra when we still need to shell out for an uber? We could have saved the inconvenience by just staying somewhere cheaper and parking at the airport. As if that wasn't bad enough, we were told that breakfast was included at check-in, but then slid a check for dried out eggs and weak coffee. The room could have been cleaner, especially for what we paid, too. My staff and I won't stay here again, and likely no other Sheridan hotel either. Those reading this, be advised that there are several competitors within a few miles. Stay with them, we will be.

Only good thing was the location. Elevators were down to 1, front desk was a joke. No microwave in room. TV was from 2004. Restaurant service was as fast as the elevator.
