Americas Best Value Inn Pittsburgh Airport

This place was ok, but nothing special at all. Pros: cheap, near the airport, has long term parking, and free airport shuttle. Cons: Outside entry for all rooms, including the upper floors. The walkways outside the upper rooms were very narrow. Most of the staircases were blocked with chains and do not enter signs, don't know if it was because the stairs weren't safe or what. The bathroom was ridiculously small. You had to wedge yourself in to get the door closed. Bed made weird noises when I laid down, like the frame wasn't completely sturdy. If you just need somewhere to crash for cheap the night before a flight like us, this place will do. If you want any sort of comfort, avoid.

Pricing was good.got a shuttle van to the airport and was able to leave my vehicle there for a small fee. After returning, I called the hotel desk as instructed after getting my luggage. The desk said 10 minute wait for the shuttle van. After 30 minutes I called and she said she would try calling him again. 15 more minutes he arrived. I was checking my maps for gas stations to fill up my vehicle after we should have been almost back. I saw we were going in the wrong direction. I asked the driver and he said the lady at my hotel had instructed I needed to go to microtel which is not true at all. He said this happens often with this person. We turned around and headed to the correct place. Wasn’t the drivers fault. He was great. The desk lady was clearly at fault for giving the wrong

We stayed here on October 10, 2025. We were heading out of town and needed a place with a Sleep, Park and Fly package . This property was cheaper, than other hotels in the area which offered the same package, so we decided to take a chance. BIG mistake! ||Check in was fine. I did asked for one extra towel and pillow, as there were only three pillows for a king bed. Was given a hard time about the towel and told no extra pillow because they were full. Big lie on being full. We saw many open rooms. Stains on the blanket and skirting, leftovers toothpaste spit on the bathroom fixture from a past guest, was what we found as we tried to settled in for the night. I Never leave a bad review. But this needs Done. Took 3 rooms for 1 key to work, locks on door broken.. It was cold snowing and everything was out side, running up and down for new room. Room was old nasty, I even checked for bugs, thankfully we had a 4am flight.Told lady at front desk to cancel are room reservations for the night we came back. was told ok. Guess what came back got our car and left. 24hrs later new bill on my card. 1 month later still nothing been hung up on 4 times. call back when a manager is here. so we are going to take that loss. So Please Do Not Stay Here. You Will be itching all night for morning to come.
