Sheraton Augusta Hotel

We just had a great stay, the room was clean, towels were fresh and breakfast was spot on. The hotel is under renovation which was not an inconvenience at all, it will be beautiful when its complete. The staff was friendly, upbeat and on top of anything we needed. A special shot out to Jean the concierge, for going above and beyond and for great conversation. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises!

I just randomly chose this hotel because I was driving and needed a place to spend the night. What a great find! I was first greeted by two of the most energetic, kind and helpful young ladies (Amanda and Lyric) at the check in desk. The rooms are newly renovated and are super clean and spacious, coffeemaker and fridge in room, and a nice, clean bathroom with soft, fluffy towels. There is a guest reception area with light appetizers and drinks (wine, beer, and sodas) and the attendant (Nancy) was also very sweet. I can tell the employees like working here and one even mentioned how their employer cares - so that speaks volumes. Location is convenient to many restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Positive: The staff was exceptional, especially the lady who checked me into the hotel. Negative: This hotel was undergoing EXTENSIVE renovations in the lobby and I feel that should have been disclosed before I booked.

I booked a newly renovated King Deluxe Suite and was unfortunately disappointed with the overall layout and design. Upon entering the room, the built-in furniture is positioned so close to the doorway that it feels intrusive and immediately makes the space feel cramped. The layout is inefficient and poorly executed, giving the suite more of a tight cruise-ship cabin feel rather than a spacious hotel suite. Additionally, the mirror just inside the entrance has hooks protruding several inches into the room, which feels like a genuine safety concern—particularly at night. The new rooms are nice even though they are only renovated not redone. They old air-con is only covered by a wooden crate, bed is Sheraton standard. The new bathrooms are nice and the furniture is good too. Currently undergoing renovation the pool, fitness and lounge are closed. There is a temporary longe that offers free drinks 5-7 and free breakfast for the time of renovation overall a good value for money stay.
