Seaside Suites by Maine Retreats Hotels

My family (two adults, three kids) recently stayed for 5 nights at the Beach Gardens Motel. ||||The staff was great. We called before arrival because we were in the area earlier than expected, and they accommodated us no problem. The person who checked us in was super friendly, and they even give popcorn for the kids.||||The location could not be beat. It is directly across the street from the beach, just three blocks or so from the pier, shops, dining, etc. It was also convenient to Portland (25 minutes) and York (45 minutes). ||||We had a suite, but it was still a little tight for the five of us. However, the room was very clean and well maintained, and well-stocked with cups, plates, bowls, a full-size fridge, microwave and a table. ||||If there is one minor negative, it is that parking

We had a great girls long weekend here! There was enough room to accommodate all 10 of us in the Apt. It was very close to beach and nightlife. The owners were very accommodating about helping us find parking on premise. They were also very responsive with all of my questions while in the booking process. I would stay here again!

We booked 3 nights at Seaside Suites. Not realizing the train track is 30' from our room. It runs throughout the night, whistle & all. The wall air conditioner was almost as loud as the train. There was a small stand alone air conditioner that was not powerful enough to cool down the bedroom, so the bedroom temp was 79 degrees. The TV remote did not work. they did send someone with a new one at 8:30pm. There were no hangers to to hang our clothes. We got very little sleep the 1st night. We contacted the owners in the morning to say we would be checking out. They said they were sorry, but they were not going to refund our money for the next 2 nights. We packed our cars and closed the door at 10am, check out time. Realizing I left my pocket book in the room, I returned to find the key less c

This was a cute place. Our room was as exactly as advertised. Good customer service. Just something to note- if you’re staying on a lower level the ceilings are very thin and you can hear footsteps, chairs being pushed in/out, etc. Having the AC on and also a sound machine helped that issue. I would totally stay here again!

Had a great time here, place was spotless and very close to the beach. It was only four of us and a baby so we had plenty of room but you could easy for 10 people. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and cookware everything you would need for a vacation.
