Seagull Beachfront Inn

So we just stayed for a week at SBI, and it was amazing. We stayed in 101 so we could have a full size fridge and 4top stovetop to save some money on food. It also has a jetted tub which unfortunately we only got to take advantage of for one night. You see, the hot water pump went out very shortly after getting there. A lot of folks would throw a fit about that, but Cari the manager was very nice and let us use rooms that still had hot water so we could still shower and wash up. We didn’t have to switch rooms, just got to use the other rooms as needed. One of the rooms had a hot tub which more than made up for not getting to use the jetted tub! In my opinion, why be mad if they can…and did what they could?! Not like they knew ahead of time that it would happen. Thank you Cari, and all of

Beautiful ocean view, excellent value for the price. Located right next to beach access. The room was clean and staff was very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

We were very happy with our stay! The reviews were definitely mixed so we weren’t too sure what we were going into but the room was clean, comfortable and the view is incredible. Great location! The personal hot tub on the deck was amazing. The hot tub did struggle to stay up to the set temp but it was a very cold day, we weren’t too phased by that. A deadbolt or chain inside the door would be a great addition. There is a $30 pet fee that is added at check in, not in the air bnb listing which was a little frustrating. Overall a great stay for the location/personal hot tub.

We stayed at the Seagull a few years ago and had a great experience, but it’s clearly under new management now—and unfortunately, things have gone downhill. The online photos make it look refreshed, but don’t let them fool you. We booked this stay for New Year’s and immediately ran into issues. When we arrived, we were told there was no water on site and that all the blankets had been taken to a laundromat. The explanation was, “my brother took them,” which felt odd and unprofessional, though I assume it’s family-run now. When we returned later to check in, we were handed our keys—but the moment we opened the door, we knew we wouldn’t be staying.
