My partner and I stayed at the cottage for the weekend. The location was beautiful being across from Lake Superior and the amenities were clean and perfect for 2 people. We also used the sauna and it was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking. Highly recommend.

My sister and I only stayed two nights because we were going further east but we were very pleased. The beach is beautiful!! We made a fire and enjoyed the sunset and the sound of the water till midnight. The two room suite is very comfortable and was very clean and cozy. I would definitely stay longer another time. Very quiet and relaxing; just what I needed.

Our family had a wonderful time at Seacoast at Sand River. The hospitality was fabulous, the rooms spotless, and pillows of the perfect fluffiness and crisp sheets set is up for a well rested stay. The small spaces are well designed and we spent 3 days feeling right at home. Oh yes, and the lake is literally right across the road! We look forward to our next stay at Seacoast at Sand River!

We loved everything about this sweet little haven. Theresa and her husband are kindred spirits who will go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. The suites are totally remodeled and just gorgeous. You can use a grill and sit out and enjoy the view of Lake Superior as you eat your dinner. The beach is right across the street and you can walk for miles. It is simply beautiful. There is a chiminea so you can have a bonfire as well. The value and charm of the Seacoast make this an ideal vacation. After seeing the busy road at which the hotels in Marquette were located, I felt even better about our decision to stay here. It was an amazing experience.

Great location on M28 between Marquette and Munising with Lake Superior just a short walk across the road, nice beach, and dark for star watching. We were surprised to be the only ones there, it used to be full all summer long. Maybe covid or the closing time between previous and new owners has something to do with it. Descent little motel, tiny bathrooms and showers. We had adjoining type rooms large enough to accommodate 6, with a small kitchen. Quiet other than hi-way noise. Issues were, no soap in the bathrooms, kids complained the wifi and tv reception were poor to none at all, toilet plugged often. New owner was not as personable as the previous one, the only time she talked to us was to answer our questions. Maybe she was just having a bad week. She did provide whatever we asked
