Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marquette by IHG

Stayed here for several nights and was pretty impressed. The front desk staff were friendly, and the free breakfast was good. Costa coffee is available 24/7 from bean-to-cup machines, which was great for a coffee lover like me. The hotel is very clean and modern. My only complaint is that housekeeping could have been better — they did the bare minimum in my room and didn’t replace the toiletries. Not a big deal since I was able to get some from the front desk, but it was a bit annoying. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. The location is also great, right next door to a Buffalo Wild Wings — super convenient for a quick lunch or dinner.

We were compelled through circumstances to make a last-second decision to stay at the Holiday inn Marquette to attend my son's graduation. It was such a great experience there, I can't say enough good things about it. As soon as we walked in the place was clean and orderly, the staff was immediately attentive to what we needed. We were checked in to our room in just a few minutes and the room was in fantastic shape. I have not one single complaint about our stay. I would easily stay there again.

Emily at the front desk was awesome. The company made mistakes in booking the room and she straightened the issue out promptly. Polite , kind and courteous. Clean room , great gym and pool and who doesn't love a hot breakfast ? Great stay!!

AUGUST 2024- Even though we (me my father and) experienced minor issues with the door lock mechanism malfunctioning, we managed to not let it ruin our vacation and one of us had to stay in the room. The maintenance guy fixed it quickly and the manager also apologized and offered us a discount if we came back again. The Breakfast was delicious, that is if you are used to Sysco Grade A food that is also served to the Military Canteens nationwide. I am from Wisconsin and of course grew up with Sysco foods served at my local Schools in my School District of Brodhead as they were headquarter in Baraboo Wi.

I would give this something like a 4.5 star if it wasn't for the lovely kitchen lady. She had great food out, and at one point overheard my 3 year old upset that they didn't have sausages out. Without asking, she cooked up 3 sausage links especially for my kid and brought them out. Amazing kindness and service. Star of the show as far as I'm concerned.
