Staff were friendly and sweet. Check in was easy. Check in was located on Dunes Suite Office around the corner from the hotel itself. Parking was abundant. Motel itself is in a great location at the end of the boardwalk right on the beach. Rooms are really outdated. Hit with the smell of lemon citrus and mildew upon entering. Bathroom smells really moldy and door to bathroom was jammed. Hard to get in and out. Husband went in and couldn’t get out unless I open from the outside. Bathroom was really cramp. We ended up leaving after a couple hours due to the smell. Couldn’t get a refund but we couldn’t stay.
Currently here until Tuesday. I mean we knew this wouldn’t be luxury but our room is extremely musty and poorly maintained. All of the bathroom floor tile are cracked and loose, the outlets are hanging out of the walls, the carpet is all pulled up along the walls and coming apart, there are multiple spots of water damage on the walls and what looks like mold growing. It’s pretty funky. Maybe a good place on the beach to get drunk and crash with friends but wouldn’t bring my family back.
Website photos are very mis-leading. So many simple things could make this property more comfortable for guest instead of being the the slums of beachfront hotels. From scum in the pool to filth built up on rails and doors. Shame on the GM for ignoring this building. Our beds had nothing but sheets and blankets, no complete set of towels, side chairs in the room had blood stains on the seat and were filthy. the Carpet was disgusting. The whole building is so neglected. The view and location are wonderful but that's all is has going for it.
Great location right at the end of the Boardwalk and the rooms were very clean. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay as well. We really loved the location as it's right on the end of the Boardwalk so you have easy access to the beach and the Boardwalk. And because it's at the end of the Boardwalk it's a lot quieter than being right on the Boardwalk. It is an older motel, but the rooms were very clean and the view of the ocean from our room was amazing. There's a ton of stuff nearby as well. We highly recommend this motel and will absolutely be back!
Its an ocean city small hotel, wasent expecting much, most of them are not the tidiest or most extravagant. Was not planning on much time in the room because i was visiting my parents who were on a campground not far so just needed a place to lay my head at night with air conditioning. However, there was a serious moisture issue, horrible mold & moisture under the carpets, intense must smell, i think we had the worst room in the hotel. We saw another room that another guest nicely showed us just out of curiosity and it was just normal & fine; however 116 was completely NOT safe to stay in especially with severe asthma. Another guest had checked into that room before we arrived and they were moved to another room (which was likely our room), they did not have another room for us. The hotel
