Sea Hawk Motel

If your looking for a blast from the past this is your place! Very old decor from the 1970's! The green bathtub needs a good overhaul along w the green toilet and carpet! We had an issue w/ ants 🐜 and we didn't even cook or hve open food containers! Never been to a motel/ hotel that doesn't give you coffee either! You get what you pay for! It was clean but needs a good remodel! Beds were ok and very close to beach, downtown OC is probably 20 mins away!

Check in was easy and friendly. Parking was odd. Location was walkable or a short drive to restaurants. The beach was a short walk from the hotel, but it was very windy when we went so we didn't hang out long. I would call the room "retro", it was a throw back to the '60-70's. The ac was loud, but the room was clean. It had a mini kitchen and we had a view of the street and pool. I did like the quiet close toilet lid. The only really bad thing was the window in the bathroom. It had mini blinds that were well used and it was at eye level on the outside. Being 2 women travelers, that window was very uncomfortable! If we had some duct tape, we would have hung a towel over it, but duct tape isn't in my traveling pack. We stayed here while exploring Assateague Island (tip: bring mosquito spra

We were late to book a last minute trip and all of our favorite places we normally reserve were booked understandably. We took a chance on the Sea Hawk Motel and we were pleasantly surprised. The bathrooms are slightly dated with the old green tub and toilets. The suite itself was rather large compared to what the pics show. Most importantly they are spotless. The cleaning ladies go above and beyond every day to assure your room is in tip top shape. The room smelled great, was so clean, the AC worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable. The groundskeepers kept everything so clean and the flowers were all so beautifully cared for. Only a couple minor complaints the beds could use a couple more pillows and the pool area needs a few chairs removed to allow a little more room for people

I recently booked a room online for the Sea Hawk. Unfortunately, I had to cancel which had nothing to do with them. The Lady Pam was extremely nice on the phone and canceled my reservation ASAP which really helped me out. Anyway, I did notice by mistake they still had charged my credit card. Since I was going to be in town I just dropped by to resolve the issue. The lady at the front desk couldn't be any nicer. After a phone phone call she had my credit card refunded and was extremely nice. The hotel was clean and adorable. When I'm back in town the Sea Hawk will definitely be the place to call.
