I rated it a 1-star in general because the place is run down. They should have really remodeled before opening. We literally had to change our room three times! The first room smelled like cigarettes & mold. The second room, I checked under the sheets & there was dirt and blood spots on the comforter. I went to the office to discuss my concern w/ the lady @ the front desk. She suggested another room since we weren't able to get a refund after checking in. I agreed w/ her since it smelled clean & I smelled the bleach. They really should've renovated before the season. Walking to the 2nd floor, a floorboard was lifted. The second my sister and I got into our room, the family above us in the hotel were stomping and running around the floor. The lights were flickering and the walls were shaking from the stomping and running. I went to the front desk at 9:34pm to make a complaint only to be told they couldn’t do anything until 10pm. I went back to my room and the noise stopped since the family stepped out. It wasn’t until 12:06am that the family returned and started the noise again. Constant stomping and running around the floor. I went back to the front desk to make another complaint but the office was closed. They only provided an “emergency” number which was the number to the office. It kept ringing and ringing and no one picked up. I decided to text the number which was an option on the sign on the door

Believe the NEGATIVE reviews. I have worked with the unhoused, and this place needs to be condemned as it is worse than any homeless shelters I have volunteered at. The rooms smell like mold/mildew and smoke. The carpet was always wet. There were other people's hair all over the pillows/beds. Two thin hand towels per room. Underneath the bed I found an empty bowl of food, plastic utensils, my dog found a battery (which she could've swallowed), chips, rotting fruit, etc. The toilet still had someone's fecal matter on the seat and in the bowl. The beds were so gross I slept on top of my beach towels. The lock to the door never worked and I worried about my dog getting out. They placed my dog and I on an upper floor and I had to carry her up/down every potty break because they couldn't put m

It was interesting... you get what you pay for here and that is proximity to the boardwalk and beach. Overall the AC worked well (after I cleaned the filter), the beds were comfy and the shower had HOT water. Now for the interesting: The light bulb burnt out on the bedside lamp and they literally handed us a light bulb. Initially, we were given 1 set of towels (we booked a double queen for 2 adults), the "towels" were definitely not adult human size towels. You have to take your own trash to the dumpster and go to the desk to get extra bags. We were given 1 key and extras are $25 each (refundable upon return). Clean bedding, ac worked, clean floors. Friendly staff. The pool is no bigger than a California king sized bed. At first my friend thought it was the hot tub lol. It was good enough for a cool dip. No chairs to lay out in. No seating at all around the pool. My only issue was the flies!! Bring a swatter and be ready to plug up a 1/4 inch gap around the ac unit.
