Saybrook Point Resort & Marina - Luxury Connecticut Oceanside Hotel

Soooo relaxing. Gorgeous facility. Loved the hotel room. (One exception: I think I was above the restaurant so it was noisy during peak times. I wanted to go to sleep at 9pm and it was way too loud. And this was even with the white noise machine I travel with). The spa services were sublime/Zen/superior! (one exception—I had a head massage and the person wore gloves, which feels like you're being massaged with clammy hands. I couldn't wait for it to end and usually I LOVE a head massage). The pool, steam, sauna, hot tub were awesome! The gym equipment could use updating—particularly the rowing machine, which is my go-to cardio. The food was AWESOME!! This is truly a first class resort. We were in town for the weekend of Thanksgiving. The views of the marina and historical character of the resort itself are incredible! Our room was gorgeous and we had windows on two sides of our room overlooking the marina. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and beautiful. We had breakfast and fresh salt on Saturday and the food was top notch! Our server Jeff was very good and attentive. He took great care of us. After a Friday night of libations, I restored order and spent literally four hours between the gym and pool room on Saturday afternoon. They have two heated pools, one inside and one outside. There is a very nice sauna and steam room as well. I did the rotation from the sauna to the steam room to the outdoor pool

Another fantastic December stay at The Saybrook Point Resort. My wife and I have been coming with friends for years, and we are never disappointed. The service and rooms are always first-rate, and the holiday decorations give the entire place a magical feel. We always end our weekend stay with the absolutely incredible Sunday brunch. Nowhere better to spend a weekend during the holidays.

I just had a stay and my wedding at Saybrook Point and cannot recommend this resort and venue enough. The location is beautiful. The food was all great. Each member of the staff was excellent from the event and catering staff helping with our wedding and room service to those working at the front desk and Fresh Salt restaurant. The room at the inn that was included with our wedding booking was large and comfortable, making the experience even better and logistics easier and more convenient. They made sure to fulfill or answer every request, need, or question. It was such a wonderful wedding made even better because of everyone at Saybrook Point! I can’t wait to come back and visit again soon! I am so grateful we found them and it worked out to give us the perfect day for me and my husband.

We had a quick one night stay and enjoyed the indoor pool, sauna and steam room. (outdoor pool is heated but we went when it was 3degrees). Our 2 queen bed room wtih a view was very roomy and had a lovely decor. The restaurant has a great menu and friendly staff. It was relaxing and worthwhile!
