Sara Placid Inn & Suites

We had a quick last minute overnight. Arrived at 2am left at 9am. The room was small but super clean. The bed was perfectly firm. The Keurig worked. We could control our own heat and park out front. They let us keep our snowmobile and trailer onsite. I called due to difficulty with online reservation and the woman on the phone was a sweetheart. Would stay again.

It was the most interesting experience I ever have. I’m used to check in in-person but this Inn I get text messages from. The will assign my room along the code. Then send me another text for wifi information. I like that because it was very speedy. The bed was good comfortable. It feels like a Full Size bed. I do get a nice coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. The WiFi is strong and great. Of course I came in January where there was a tons of snow. But I wasn’t impressed with the parking lots weren’t clear. Thanks god I have 4 wheels vehicle to drive on and I did get stuck at end of entrance/exit park area. I m disappointed but I’m good. Overall I like this place and I would stay over night again in the future. Only 30 minutes drive to Whiteface Mountains ski.

In an All-America City, we found the All-America Sara Placid Inn & Suites. When a family, medical emergency necessitated the need to establish a "home base" in the village of Saranac Lake during the busy Christmas holidays, in the middle of ski season, our prospects were not good. Rooms were sold out and rates were higher than the mountain summits. ||Then we stumbled upon the Sara Placid Inn & Suites. This gem brought back so many memories of family vacations in years past. It is conveniently located near the village. Sara Placid Inn & Suites is truly the best motel I've ever stayed at. It's charming, it's super clean, it's updated and renovated, and completely comfortable. I loved how there was no hassel with parking, and it's in a nice scenic area with the lakes nearby. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They also responded to texts in a timely manner. You'll get better quality than the brand name hotels nearby. Sara Placid, thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

A winter stay at the Sara-Placid Inn was a bit challenging only for the poor condition/lack of of plowing of the parking lot, and access from rooms to the parking lot. Otherwise, communication was mostly prompt, definitely good, and clear. The room we stayed in was older (stains on the sink) but VERY clean. The bed was comfortable, the linens were plentiful, and our needs were met for our 2 night stay. The location provided easy access to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid
