Prescott House ADK

We stayed for 1 night (Saturday-Sunday). There are a lot of things here, like a pool table and TV for entertainment in the basement. There’s a communal room to sit and chat on the 1st floor. Multiple bathrooms as well, one private and one with multiple bathroom stalls and showers on the second floor and I’m sure other floors as well. I’d say, the only thing that we had trouble with was the room. The beds were very uncomfortable, we both couldn’t sleep and kept waking up. Not only that, but the walls are very thin, so if anyone moves or is talking, you’ll hear it. Other than that, we had a great stay. We really were only staying because we needed to sleep somewhere and this was close to town. I would come here again, and try out a different room (we booked on airbnb!).

Just spent three nights here with my girlfriend. This is a beautiful, well-kept guest house. We stayed here for a ski trip at Whiteface. The room was warm, comfortable, and the shared bathroom honestly felt private! It was never occupied when we needed it. The only snag was an oversaturated parking lot on a busy Friday night!

We absolutely loved this place! It’s quiet, cozy, and comfortable, walking distance to downtown, and an amazing value for the price! We loved it so much that we canceled a stay at another establishment and booked a room here for another trip we are planning for the end of October. This will definitely be our go to place to stay from now on whenever we are coding the area!

We loved staying at the Prescott House. It was a privilege due to the history and beauty of the home. We had everything we needed and slept comfortably. Very convenient right in town of Saranac Lake. Fun basement for evening hangout with our kids. We got a family room which slept the three of them and a queen room with private bath for mom and dad. Great outdoor porch for sipping coffee in the fresh mountain air. Easy and enjoyable, highly recommend.

I was very happy with the room we were given, not happy it was on the 3rd floor, but our room had accommodating a/c which was whisper quiet. We also had a television and internet! We were greeted by a lovely man, named John who helped us get our luggage up. We spent 2 nights over the Labor Day weekend! The price was right as we came for my baby grandsons 1st birthday! We will visit again and stay at Prescott House!
