Santa Cruz Inn Riverside

This is a cute place that is what it says it is. Very convenient to the convention center, though a bit loud at night as a result to being down town. The folks were super helpful and accommodating, and helped me find something I had forgotten after I checked out. I would stay here again. Only comment would be that I was a little chilly and ended up doubling up the blankets from the other bed in the room.

I really wanted to like this motel. This is a super cool historic structure really close to the convention center. I think many of the rooms are different, I thought I was booking a normal room, but it was almost a small apartment with a kitchenette area and small balcony. This place could be fantastic and cater to the convention center crowd with a little more care.||||The entrance to my room was inside of a building. The door COULD have been shut and accessible only with a room key. But it never was. So this wide open door led me to find a homeless man sleeping outside of my room at 7:30 am as I left for my conference. I told the front desk person, and she sent someone to send him away, but her manner suggested this had happened before, and they’ve just chosen not to prevent it.||||One o

Awesome hotel. I've always wanted to stay here , great staff , great location.

Stayed here for the Beyond Wonderland 2025 festival. Staff was exceptional. From the front desk to housekeeping, all wonderful. The room, is basic but I knew going in that it wasn't a Hilton or a Marriott. Bed was comfortable, shower was a basic shower. My room overlooked the street and could be a bit noise when a car alarm went off or someone had a loud exhaust. Not that I noticed all that much, got in at 0330 and collapsed asleep. The location put it within a 5 minute walk to the shuttle, which is the main reason I chose this hotel, well, that and the price. If I had one complaint, and this is being super nitpicky, it's the soap. The scent is good but it just doesn't like to 'work'. Hard to explain. Keep your expectations realistic. It's a hotel room.
