Sandusky Inn

Let’s talk about the beds….crazy comfortable, excellent quality mattress. This motel is enough for what you need for a quiet & very comfortable rest. Rooms are small, but the cost for the room seems fairly priced. Our room could have been a little cleaner, but it was not dirty. Sheets were laundered but could use a glance over, the bathroom was clean. It’s in a great spot if you are headed out for Lake Erie attractions. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this spot. Owners were kind & attentive.

With close proximity to Cedar Point this location was perfect for our 2 night stay. Within minutes of many fast food locations and a Kroger even closer, if you are in need of anything it can be achieved within 5-10 minutes of walking. The room/bathroom was clean and tidy, and although the room was on the smaller side, it was well laid out and fit out needs well. Definitely will be coming back for another stay.

Although the room was tiny, it fit our needs perfectly and was clean! It had newly renovated bathrooms and even included a microwave and mini fridge free of extra cost. The staff was super friendly and we had no trouble with parking! The location is also super close to Cedar point, the lake and the stores. I will definitely be back!

Location is great and the workers are extremely nice! We stayed here for a night and it met our basic needs but I wouldn’t stay here again. The AC didn’t work and the rooms were muggy. The shampoo and body wash dispensers were pretty much empty to the point we ran out. I also found two carpet beetle larvae in my bed which I originally thought were bed bugs. A little concerning!

Overall it's an affordable place to stay in a busy area. Sandusky has so many things, cedar point, Kalahari, great Wolf Lodge, and many surroundings areas with activities that it's nice to find an affordable place to stay. The rooms are small but, how much room do you really need to sleep. The shower was great, the water was hot, everything worked, the TV, the AC, the mini fridge, etc. The AC unit was loud though and would wake us up at night, but it worked really well. The pool was clean. The inn was easy to find. It looks like they are upgrading somethings, as the bathroom looked really nice, but the living area was a little more worn. Nothing was really dirty just worn. We would consider staying here again if we were in the area. The staff was also friendly.
