Sand Pebbles Inn

A lovely stay, rooms are spacious and clean. Shower clean and average pressure. We found the breakfast burrito was ok. Would have made a huge difference with some salsa. Probably the best option for the paper bag room delivery, which was quite a nice idea. The town is lovely and this was a super base to explore the town, paso a Robles and the Big Sur.

The inn is located right across from the ocean. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well appointed, with a microwave, fridge, and complimentary coffee, bottled waters and cookies. The staff was very nice and helpful. We appreciated that there was a binder of local restaurant menus in the lobby. The included breakfast that is delivered to your room, at a time you choose and has several options, was full sized and very good. All in all, our stay at The Sand Pebble Inn in Cambria was lovely!

My wife and I stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. We kept saying over and over how comfortable and homey it felt. We slept with the windows open all night and let the cool breeze off the Pacific blow in and slept hard listening to the crash of the waves just across the street. Having breakfast delivered to the door was a really nice touch. If we’re ever traveling along the PCH we will definitely stay here again.

Great location across from the ocean and a great walking path. Easy to find and easy to park. The staff is wonderful and the Inn is extremely clean and well taken care of. Beds very comfortable and breakfast included was delicious! Will definitely stay again.

Nice service but EV charging is locked so you can only charge if they are at the front desk. If you leave for dinner and return after 9 pm you might be able to convince them to charge after they leave but that is a case by case basis. It’s a nice step up from your average motel but our mattress was a little lumpy and old. The “fireplace” is electronic (so no real fire) and if you book the ocean view upstairs there is no outside space (the ocean view on the lower level has a little sitting area outside. While it is nice to have breakfast delivered to your room, early risers will find their first delivery at 7:30 - 8:30 am a little late. The breakfast is nothing fancy and comes in a brown paper bag.
