Bridge Street Inn

Very friendly staff. We had a really nice suite, with kitchenette, living-dining area, and two bedrooms. It was quiet and private. The outdoor areas are really relaxing and well kept.

Lovely looking house close to everything in Cambria. Our room was clean and fresh. Kitchen facilities were great. We chose room#1 upstairs to avoid being near the kitchen, dining & lounge areas, but the other 3 guests were so quiet I don't think it would've mattered. In hindsight we wished we had stayed another couple of nights as the vibe in the house and the town was fabulous.

Such an exquisitely welcoming space. Absolutely adore the ambiance and magical fireside time we had connecting with world travellers and some of the locals. The rates were very affordable, with ample space and provision of amenities. I also LOVE the green/regenerative philosophy the Bridge Street Inn employs and love supporting them as a role model. The location is ideally located within a 2 min walk of the town's provisions. Aimee was a splendid host, made us feel right at home, and was super informative and helpful towards our interests. She really made our experience shine!!!

After a long day of biking down through Big Sur and being passed at the end of the day by lots of cars zipping along on Highway One, my daughter and I arrived in Cambria. Only vaguely remembering the town I somehow thought the Bridge Street Inn was near the highway and was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't close. (It's in the East Village.) I was even more pleasantly surprised to bike up to it and find it on a very quiet dead end street, a charming house surrounded by a well-tended and well-landscaped yard. And then the third surprise: I always associate anything that calls itself an "Inn" to possible be on the pretentious side with doilies on the backs of the chairs and this was anything but that. We were on a roadtrip through California and were really lucky to run out of gas in lovely Cambria. Even lovelier was this beautiful hostel with an amazing cost/quality ratio! We felt welcome from the first step we took through the front door. The hostel is really clean, cozy and home-like. The outside bonfire place is awesome. The best stay during our 3-week trip in California!
