San Miguel Inn

Great location, close to many places to eat-you can walk if you have the umph for it, a park is near by for dog walking, room was clean, bed comfortable, friendly staff-she had plenty of suggestions for things to do locally. As many have stated, the rooms are dated but have some updates. For me, a plus was a 4 cup coffee maker. Room has a microwave, large mini fridge, and a small sofa with chaise. Dogs: There is limited space to walk your dog on property but there is an empty lot next door, a grassy area next to the street behind the hotel, and as mentioned, a wide open park down the road. I have no complaints about this room or hotel. I am not sure why it has such low reviews. It is def a no fuss no frills room but it more than serves its purpose. I will stay here again, in the spri

Positive: Nothing! Negative: Filthy room with a disgusting stained mattress and bedding. Bathroom was worn and dirty. Room smelled. Requested a different room which was in better condition. Could not understand the hotel staff.

Check in was good. No wifi password provided. Office closed at 7 pm when we called to request it, although owner/managers live on property. Clean room. Dated fixtures. Carpet worn. Poorly executed maintenance in shower, ceiling leak, effort to repair tile grouting in outdoor hallways. Halls not swept.||||Convenient location, quiet and safe. Perhaps what should be expected for a low cost motel.

Positive: It is located right in the middle of town. The facility is old but the owners have worked hard to keep in modern. We arrived on a hot day and were riding motorcycles. Our room was ready and we were allowed to check in more than an hour early. Negative: ""

They did a good job of not putting everyone in the motel right next to each other. The buildings are obviously old but some care has gone into updating and trying to modernize. Free WiFi fast enough to stream a movie. Good for what it is.
