Sailor Jack's Oceanfront Inn

This hotel was a pleasant surprise on our road trip. The location is great for this price range. Right on the beach with stairs to the sand. We stayed on the 3rd floor (least expensive), room 309, and we had a great view of the coast. All rooms have a beach view! There was a small deck; just wide enough to stand on, however it was nice to open the slider and hear the waves, smell the ocean. There are few chairs down on the bottom deck with firepits, all facing the beach. Wonderful place to sit & read a book and relax.|The room was updated and comfortable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay — Highly Recommend We recently stayed at Sailor Jack's Ocean View Resort in room 215 and had an amazing experience. The room was clean, spacious, and modern, with a cozy fireplace and a fantastic ocean view that made the stay extra special. The staff was very attentive and met all of our needs quickly and professionally. While the parking lot is a bit small, it’s easy enough to navigate and didn’t take away from the overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this resort. We’ll definitely be back.

Positive: The view was spectacular!And the staff member who greeted me was so friendly and helpful. Will be booking with my family next time. Negative: Nothing personally that I didn't like, but if you have mobility issues it would be hard for you to get down to the beach using the stairs. I mean, the hotel as well as others are built on a cliff, so views are amazing, but it is steep stairs.

We made a reservation 1 1/2 months prior to our anniversary trip and received a confirmation email. When we arrived they had no record of our reservation even when we showed them our confirming email. The only explanation was “it didn’t make it up to our system”. Since every ocean view room was taken (as we reserved) they offered us a room overlooking the parking lot at full price. It’s not that a mistake was made, it’s that they were not apologetic and made no effort to make it up to us. No offer of a voucher for a room (or partial value even) at another time, no discount on the crummy room, nothing. Cold and uncaring. We’ve been staying there for years but no more. We had to drive home. Update-They had the gall to send me an email today asking how my stay was and for a positive review. A

This place was great! Our room was clean with new furniture, very comfy bed and chairs. King bed room was open an spacious. View or not this place was great and it's right in the beach!
