Rustic River Retreats

We had our wedding at Rustic River Retreats on September 27, 2025. The venue was exactly what we were looking for - intimate, versatile, and naturally beautiful. Our family used the extra rooms in the Main House and Game Cabin, and they raved about how comfortable and charming everything was. On our wedding day, there was plenty of space for the bridal party to get ready, and too many beautiful picture locations to choose from! The pond and the firepit were a huge hit with guests as well! Because we rented the venue for the whole weekend, my husband and I also got to spend time on Sunday, after things had settled down, walking the trails, sitting by the fire, and gazing up at the stars. I would highly recommend Rustic River Retreats for small events and for the perfect, relaxing getaway.

Visited Rustic Rive Retreats for a family reunion, was great! Hiking trails were very scenic. Parking was the only issue. Very limited parking so we had to be creative.

This place is amazing! It sits on a big property, so it's nice and quiet. It's so spacious. 9 of us slept there easily. It's super clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back again. There are paths through the woods and one leads to the river. What a truly amazing experience.

Beds are ok if you are by yourself. Better have a close friend if you're in the same bed because you will sink to the center. Bring your own coffee, and sugar. Nothing is provided. Curtains fall when moved.

Stayed at the main house and ganeroom and both locations are very nice. Both buildings are very clean, the climate well controlled and the grounds well kept. It rained our entire stay so couldn't enjoy the outdoors but I did attempt to venture the paths but was assaulted by bugs who seem to enjoy the scent of Off! bug spray. They keep the house well stocked with games and a Bluetooth speaker for music so don't fear the wet/cold weather. I could not locate a hammock or riverside patio as seen in pictures but with all this wet weather id be surprised if they survived. The gameroom was a fun hangout to shoot pool but the bumper pool was void of half the balls (or we just couldn't locate them) and the pinball machine was void the actual pinball. It was still really cool as a decoration. I
