Royal Inn

The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Though it looks like an older hotel on the outside, everything in the room is new. It's honestly the best value and quality.

I travel to the Greenville area once or twice a year, always looking for an economical place to stay. And since that often means lower standard, these place are usually "less than the best". I am looking for a place where I can say "That will do", but I am not looking for more than that. And every once in a while, I get the urge to try a new discount hotel. Even with these low expectations, Royal Inn failed. I will not be back. It was clean, and I will say that for them. I did not see any bugs or other tiny livestock. But the shower was tepid at best. There were no grab bars, not one. and nothing else to hold on to. Couple that with slick services, and this seventy year old man felt very nervous. I felt quite unsafe in that bathroom, standing in a very slick tub with nothing at all to

We had a decent room, no tv for the entire time we stayed. They said they was working on it but you never seen any work trucks there. You walk into the lobby there was nobody there. I will not return to slumville.

You know what? For the price, I was expecting a lot worse. The rooms are clean. Employees were pleasant. And there's plenty of room to park a semi trailer. Don't let the outside fool you. The rooms are very clean.

Rooms are big, clean and people who run it are very nice. Only problem is bed bugs! My first night I got bit by something but thought maybe it could have been a mosquito. Told him in the office, I went back that night to pay and he told me that they checked the bed but didn't find anything. Ok cool, I stayed a few more nights with no bites. My last night there I was ate up! I knew it was bed bugs because the bites were 3 and 4 in a row. I left for work but did not return.
