Comfort Suites Greenville

A great stop outside of Dallas. My family and I were traveling thru the area and decided to stop here for rest. We were greeted by Scott who was a pleasure at the front desk. Very friendly and polite. Immediately inside the hotel lobby you can smell the cleanliness. The same goes for the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The next morning we had the pleasure of meeting Madeline who was a busy bee tending to the breakfast area. She was out there checking the eggs, sweeping, and mopping up the slightest drop of maple syrup as if she was hosting someone in her own home. We even recommended this place for the rest of the family traveling through the area later in the week.

We were given, as requested, a quiet room away from road noise. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with no bugs. The breakfast was also very good. The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Overall, the experience was everything you need when spending a night.

Good location, but terrible experience. First, absent, then unfriendly receptionist. LOUD hotel. Metal door banging early in the morning. No freezer and the large refrigerator was not very cold to store food. Cups were so flimsy, couldn't carry them without spilling water. Coffee maker hard to access and in a dark recess where it was difficult to operate. Breakfast food horrible. Yuck.

The room itself was very nice. No noise to speak of. The people at the front desk were great! No issues at all. The maid service has been less than desirable. The first couple of mornings, there wasn’t a housekeeper in sight and they didn’t even step into the room. I was not aware that you had to “schedule a cleaning.” I’ve never heard of that before and no one was told. I had to actually go to the front desk and ask them to come in and empty all of the trash and take the dirty linens. At that time I requested them to come in the next morning to clean the room. It still wasn’t done so I had to go back to the front desk again to request a cleaning for the next morning. Since then, everything has been pretty good. Stayed 11-11-25 in rm 415. First off, the reviews are true… Scott at the front desk is a professional, on top of it and when you think of concierge, he’s it. Old school Hotel customer service or just general decency and remembers the guests names and uses it often. The hotel room itself is good, clean and quiet. No bugs. It’s a larger, wide open room. The carpet is nice and makes the room look good. WiFi didn’t work when I got in, wouldn’t open and I when it did, it didn’t work so, never used it. AC worked well. Mattress was a slightly firm (had a creek to it) but pillows and bed spread were nice. Decent enough tv channels but boy was that tv small. Lol. As a Wyndham member, I paid $121. Definitely higher than it’s worth but supposing the other chains are less than, I guess this is the
