Royal Anchor Beach Resort

I’ve been coming to this place for about 15 years. First with my mom, and now with my husband. Friendly staff, beautiful views, heated outdoor pool, clean grounds. The rooms are simple but adorable. Keep in mind, as of right now most of their rooms do not have AC, so if you’re going in the heat of summer, it may be a bit uncomfortable at night. We usually avoid July and August just to be safe. All in all, I will always highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to go back.

From checking in to check out everything was spectacular. The desk clerk was so accommodating. She helped us schedule an additional day stay without to much hassle. The beach was very clean and all the cleaning staff attended to any thing we asked. Love this place.

This was our second year staying at Royal Anchor. What a beautiful place to vacation! Everyone who worked there was so welcoming and always had a smile and a conversation with myself and my husband. The young man who worked in the breakfast room was so nice and helpful. Our room was always well taken care of. The front desk staff was excellent. Can’t wait to be back next summer!

Just off season (shoulder season?) so atmosphere was calm, but service and staff couldn't have been nicer. Continental breakfast was superb. Small family reunion brought guests from all over the U.S. and everyone was pleased with accommodations.

I’m from Indiana. I’ve stayed here numerous times when working in Portland (to get away from the chain hotels) as well as please visits. It’s a “Motel”… so don’t expect fragrance in the lobby… other than the amazing salt air. The staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms are… again, a “motel”… but impeccably clean and have all the nice appointments of fridge, micro, safe… etc. The Beach Bar is really chill and very well appointed with beach furniture. In my opinion… a 10 out of 10. Always enjoy coming back!
