Rodeway Inn San Angelo South

The location was great. Several restaurants nearby within a very short walking distance. The night staff was really friendly. The parking lot had great lighting, assuring our vehicle was safe. The room has very spacious, and the A/C worked great. The carpet was pretty sketchy looking though. I give the place 3 stars because the hot water for the shower was not very hot. More like luke warm. Upon notifying the front desk, we were simply told we were the only ones who have notified them about the issue.

The carpet was stained and had a strong odor. The electrical outlets are too few and are from the 1990s. The breakfast consisted entirely of carbs, with no significant protein, except for some old boiled eggs. We have stayed at other Rodeway Inns and found them to be very comfortable. This one, however, is not worth the price at any price. By pass this one at all costs.

I recently stayed here and can confidently say this will be my go-to hotel whenever I’m in San Angelo. James truly went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. He was incredibly friendly, genuinely helpful, and more than willing to work with me during a time when I really needed it. He made sure I had a room when it mattered most, and that level of care and professionalism is rare. Because of James, my stay was stress-free, comfortable, and honestly memorable in the best way. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. Hands down, I will absolutely stay here again on future trips. Huge thank you to James for making this trip such a positive experience.

We needed a first floor room for my husband and the employee at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous... He did some maneuvering magic and got us the room so hooray !! We appreciated it very much... The room was big and clean to an extent, the towels were old and dinghy, the carpet needs to be replaced for sure but it was quiet and the bed was more than decent... In a crunch it worked for us
