San Angelo KOA Holiday

This was a one night stay for me, I was traveling from Colorado to Texas Hill Country. Customer service was good, the staff was friendly. My pull through site was easy to get into and the full hook up was appreciated because I had to de-winterize. The site was level and all gravel. I got the least expensive site so there was no patio and I saw a picnic table that didn't appear to belong to anyone but it wasn't on my site either. I could have moved it but I really wasn't going to use it. The bathroom/shower was clean and the hot water felt so good. I appreciated the proximity to shopping. There is an HEB fairly close.

Rented an RV site and a cabin for family members. The cabin had a non-cooling air conditioner. The family suffered asll night, and mentioned to us in the morning the AC never cooled the cabin down.|When we complained to the management the following morning (and a $250/nightly cabin should have working AC), we were told since they hadn't complained during the night, there was nothing they could do. When I asked for a refund or partial refund, I was told that wasn't possible.|I recommend staying anywhere but at this KOA. Management is completely oblivious of customer service. |We will never stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting San Angelo to go anywhere but here.

This place was managed nicely, until one day I began to question it. That day was just about a week or so ago. Guess we will see how that goes. Will update eventually. Update: New management is decent. The park is still a good park. Is it top tier? Still weighing that, so probably a 4 of 5 stars.
