Angoria Hotel

Great hotel. I love the drive up hotel/motel feel....very old school and was super nostalgic for me. The updates to the hotel are A+++. They took this deal down to the studs and rebuilt it from the inside out. Everything is brand new and very well done. My room was really nice with lots of space and great bedding. The lounge, bar/coffee bar, pool and fireplace area were a really nice treat. The staff was super friendly and the owner was there and she was incredibly nice. They are very proud of this property as they should be. Great place and I will be returning soon!

Its humble exterior hides high quality, tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The hotel is steps away from the beautiful river walk and historic downtown area with shops and restaurants. The hotel has a small outdoor pool, hot tub, and lounging area. Being centrally located, the intersection is busy, but the hotel provides white noise machines and ear plugs. We slept great and will definitely stay here on our next visit to San Angelo!

Updated rooms the floor is a hard surface no carpet, yay! Bathroom was clean and updated with shower wand. Sink and vanity in a separate area. Beds and pillows we comfortable and the sheets were fresh and crisp. Great place, I regret not spending a little more time on the property to relax in the hot tub. Pool area is nicely appointed. A real gem especially for San Angelo.

This hotel is very cute and the owners did a great job remodeling (including a nice hot tub, pool, and lounge area). The duvets had a few stray hairs when we arrived, which is a little off putting, but otherwise the room was very clean. What others have said about noise is true as you can hear the road from the room but they offer noise machines and earplugs for free which is a kind attempt to make the stay more comfortable.

Location is great! Nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Great rooms and additional amenities. We didn't get to try the pool area but I would recommend checking it out. Awesome little hangout area privatized from street view. Awesome little bar/lounge area. Keyless/cardless entry into rooms so no keys/cards to lose just a door code to remember. Check em out!
