Residence Inn by Marriott San Angelo

I hosted a learning session in the board room they have for my job. While we did have technical difficulties in getting my HDMI to connect, I was so impressed with each staff member and the way they worked together to create a solution. They pivoted to a projector last minute and I was able to continue with my session as planned. Very thankful! Also- I did stay here for the night. Was upgraded to a 2 bedroom. Everything was clean and well maintained!

Super fast and easy check in with a smiling face at the front desk. This is always a plus because customer service is becoming a thing of the past. Room was super awesome and much like a small apartment complete with a kitchenette and a dining room table. Oh and a comfy couch. It was well equipped with every modern convenience. Would highly recommend any traveler.

Overall, our stay at the Residence Inn San Angelo was lovely. The breakfast in the morning was always very nice and well stocked. The pool and hot tub facilities were clean, well-stocked. There were always clean towels and the area was always kept very clean and neat. Our experience with the cleaning staff was the only problem. If we were in our room when the cleaning staff stopped by and we ask them to come back later they never returned. Our room was not serviced two days of a four day stay. We never got out of our room any later than 10:30 or left the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. For some reason the housekeeping staff only gave us one chance to clean your room.

The good- well lit parking lot, several entrances available near parking, lovely front desk staff, clean room. The bad- It's 1am and I'm wide awake listening to my neighbor snore. Paper thin walls. When he's not snoring, I can instead listen to him use the restroom - apparently a small bladder. The bed is the most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. The water pressure is not fantastic, but not awful. There are better picks in this area

Stayed one night here recently and my room was not clean. My room was dirty and my allergies were so bad being in the room. I called down to the front desk to tell them that the room was dirty and I was met with “ well the cleaning manager checks off all the rooms before they’re available to be rented” I told them that the room was gross and they said I could follow up with the manager when they came back. I understand that most hotel rooms won’t be spotless but this was even too much for me. The staff didn’t seem to care.
