Rodeway Inn Ludington

If you don't need all the frills this hotel is a nice inexpensive alternative. We got a room with a spa tub & the jets did not work. They moved us right to another room with a working tub. The rooms are clean & our fridge worked extremely well which is rare in ANY hotel! The bed was a little stiff but fine for us & the pillows are definitely not top notch. All in all was very pleased for a king suite with a jacuzzi in the room for less than $140!

Got here and left immediately. Firstly, the entire place REEKED of Indian food…even the room. Our room was FILTHY. Other reviews saying their room was clean must be fake. There were bugs under the mattress. Also, stains all over the chairs, sheets, and comforters. “Male stains,” not food stains, if you get what I mean. Disgusting. Every corner was literally covered in filth. Revolting. Couldn’t even stay here, it was so nasty.

The young man who checked me in was very pleasant. Room is clean and convenient, but the coffee in the room has expired in 2023. So I ended up with a mouth full of old grounds. The free breakfast isn't good, rock hard bagels, expired yogurt and the juice machine has nothing but water coming out. I imagine pretty much everything in there is expired too. Good thing I brought my own banana's.

The room was "fairly" clean. There was like 1/4 inch of dust very visible behind the soft chair. There is no place to "hang" clothes (no clothes rod or hangers). And I was very disappointed in the inability to accommodate my request for a first floor room. I could tell by the rooms that where the unoccupied by the rooms in which the curtains were totally open. There were literally aprx 3 first floor rooms occupied in the back of the building and about the same in the front but I was told that they could not accommodate my request. I assumed it was because they were all fully booked. Clearly they were not.

Positive: The price Negative: Noisy, room was dirty, crushed candy under the matress, crumps and empty candy wrapper on the floor, baseboards were dirty.Sidewalks and walkways to the parking lot were not cleared of snow well.
