Before it became a shelter, it was a decent place, then it turned in to a shelter, and the roaches and mice are living lovely

Pros: it’s walking distance to the NY Botanical Garden and Fordham University. The ice machine worked; the front desk changed my $10 bill for singles so I could use the canned soda vending machine. Cons: $30 early check-in charge when we arrived at noon for 3pm check-in. Rooms had no sheer curtains to allow light but provide privacy from street. Only blackout curtains. Loud tv/music played by neighbors and constant smell of smoke (both cigarettes and pot) in hallway that permeated to the rooms. Rooms did not feel clean - stained and out of date. Furniture and appliances were old, worn, cracked, chipped. Framed photo had cracked glass. Bedside bulb kept flickering on/off even without using the switch. Beds were uncomfortable. I stayed at the Rodeaway inn for 1 night during the week. Parking is a bit of a hastle, not the hotel’s fault. Check in was a breeze did not take too long. The room was clean, but very very small. But everything else was fine, my expectations were not high since this was a 1 night stay mostly for leisure. The Wifi was a little slow at times but adequate. Complimentary breakfast was awesome, not a lot of choices but there is something for everyone. Overall a good stay.

Room 204. We stayed one night. The front desk was very kind, accommodating and the room was nice and clean. The only trip was that the hallway stank like cigarettes and urine but once you get into your room everything is fine. The bathroom is nice, everything was working well for the most part. The morning of checkout there was once roach that popped up but I'm not too sensitive about those things. I was bummed that the hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work. 7 parking spots max in front of the hotel and it's first come first serve. Thankfully the front desk helped us out and prepared the Car omce parking was available ! The breakfast was great, I love your selection of coffee, tea and juice. A more premium experience stay at this "Inn".

My management company placed me and family there, while they were doing a lead abatement in our apartment. We were only there for a few hours and could not deal; supposed to be for a week. Not family oriented. Tiny rooms, says non smoking, but the entire place smelled like a giant cigarette. Thin walls, not a pleasant environment inside nor out. Not enough parking spaces; first come first serve--- 8 spaces for about 20 to 25 rooms. I feel our building manager did not care about us; she did not care where she placed us.. she would not stay there with her family so why would you make me and mine stay there. It was not appropriate for the family, we have children. They should invest and renovate the place.. to make it a suite hotel.. thicken up those walls and add proper amenities, like
