Highbridge Hotel

I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had never been to The Bronx, but this hotel was instantly a relief as it was clean, welcoming, and had such lovely and accommodating staff. For a budget hotel, the room was exceptionally tidy and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom. The TV had a variety of great channels. We also loved that the bed had 5 pillows. The breakfast was okay, but really, for a hotel this price I was blown away. The area is not a typical touristy area, but my partner and I never felt unsafe, and it was sufficiently quiet at night. Thank you so much for our stay!

Positive: Everything was good. Location is strategic in my opinion and very convenient. The staff was also friendly yet respectful. It was great. Negative: The unexpected 100 dollars refundable after leaving the hotel. Luckily i had a credit card with me but i didnt see anything (While booking) indicating that would be done.

There was something special about this hotel. Not sure what it was- the welcome at reception; the general friendliness of the staff (we had a really full and insightful conversation with someone who just happened to be passing); the free bagels...but something about this place is really nice.||Great location- close to two metro lines, one in particular. Close to Yankee Stadium- it was fun to see it from the outside.||Enjoyed the included breakfast- again, the friendliness of the serving staff there made it feel welcoming.

Stayed here for one night. Staff was so friendly. The room was so spacious and the bed super comfortable. Not to mention that everything was super clean and they offer breakfast. They also gave me my deposit back which a lot of hotels don’t do, you’d be surprised. Amazing place. Will definitely be coming again soon.

My hotel stay at Highbridge Hotel was ok. The room was exactly as described. It was clean and warm. My travel dates was right after a mild snow storm and the weather was still very brisk. The street in front of the hotel was shoveled. It's walking distance from the 4 line and there's numerous stores and restaurants nearby. I decided to order from a Dominican restaurant my first night. Postmates said it was 1.4 miles away but I forgot nyc miles aren't the same as country miles. That same distance is about a 10 minute drive in Texas but it took about 30-40 minutes from Bruckner Blvd due to traffic. But back to the hotel, i stayed in room 214 which faced the front, it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. That evening I had tickets to Cursed Son, took a $97 Uber down to the city and then
