Wingate by Wyndham Bronx/Haven Park

The hotel itself is good, and the facilities were satisfactory. However, the location is quite poor and feels rather unsafe in the evenings.

The hotel is very comfortable, and offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff was attentive and professional at all times. I would especially like to recognize the manager, Tommy, for his kindness and cordiality throughout the entire stay. I recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Booked here because of the reviews. Received multiple communications, confirming our reservation and the availability of parking for our car, and that the parking was valet. Communicated several times that we'd be there after midnight. Upon arrival, we were told there's no valet parking between 12 AM and 6 AM. However, the security guard was kind enough to go with us to the garage to park our car. We were not told ahead of time how much value parking would cost, but ended up paying $35 a day to park at the hotel. Getting to the room felt a bit like a maze, but it was clean and stocked, albeit small. Excellent Location!!!!!!!!The room was small but very clean, functional and modern, but no microwave. I appreciated the breakfast options, and the staff was the best thing about the hotel as they were friendly and helpful. Returning to my old neighborhood near Brook Avenue, 3rd Ave., and 138th St. was memorable. The hotel where I stayed had Rosa’s at Park where the ambiance at the venue was superb —the food truly outstanding. The atmosphere was lively, filled with happy patrons, creating a real sense of community. When I realized that it was Rosa behind the bar it was the next day. For sure I will be back and get me a selfie with Rosa…hopefully. Rosa’s at Park represents the new way in which we enjoy hotel entertainment and fine dining right here in the Bronx. Great clean, safe hotel with European sized rooms, lots of hooks and underbed storage. Appreciated the safety feature of using room key in the elevator and appreciated the lights in the headboard and the 2 bedside tables.
