Rodeway Inn Apopka South

I regret to report an extremely disappointing experience at the Rodeway Inn located at 1317 S Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka, FL. The property fell well below reasonable standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The shower contained visible holes, creating both a hygiene and maintenance concern. When I requested fresh sheets, the attendant appeared unwilling to provide them, which raised serious doubts about the upkeep of guest accommodations. The room carried an unpleasant odor throughout my stay, further diminishing comfort. Additionally, the freezer was rusted, rendering it unsanitary and unusable. Just needed a place for one night. Found it online and made reservation. Parking and reception area are good. The halls and staircase got a recent terrible paint job over all the old beat up molding and walls. Rooms size was ok, but....||The love seat had stains and a big tear in it. No shower curtain. We asked for one but they never brought it. The office chair by the desk was broken. Dirty bathroom floor. No shampoos or soap. Sheets may or may not have been washed from previous guest||TV did not work at all and the person at the front desk did not care.||I felt uncomortable with some of the people loitering outside the building.

Very poor. The room was very dirty. The light fixtures had thick dust and the corners in the bathroom floor were thick with dirt.. I did not like that my card was taken behind close doors for processing. The lighting outside was dim The location did not seem very safe.

For starters 3 broken down cars in the driveway, located next to a gun range . Had to crank up the ac and tv to cover the sound of the shots. There was a growth in the coffee pot that defied science. The shower head was disgusting. Cheap room glad I didn’t pay more.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. We were going to go in October but there was a hurricane and they GUARANTEED a refund. Still currently figuring to get that refund and no one is helping and now they are saying that we don’t get one with no reason! As someone that never like putting bad reviews or anything. It is just not fair at all that we’ve been patient and many, many months, just for them to tell us no refund. Listen to the bad reviews and I will still be fighting for that refund :)
