Indian Mound Camp Ground

This review is based solely on my communications with an employee at the location. After describing what I was interested in. The employee took a great deal of time in a very friendly manner. To describe their amenities and offer suggestions I hadn't thought of. Lovely lady.

We had a wonderful week camping, we had sites 36, 35 and 34. The sites were very nice, great views and the staff was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend! We will see you guys next year!!

I love stopping off while paddling up and down the run. The run gets 5 stars, but the campsite less so. It is the best site along the run. Fire ring, benches, and a bear/ critter box for food and garbage storage overnight. Cons are the campsite is mostly dirt with sweet gum seed pods all over (i.e. spiny) making it difficult to find a nice place for a tent. Also, people need to learn to burry their toilet paper as a few feet into the woods in any direction is covered in used TP.
