Kings Landing Campground

A fantastic place to experience nature’s beauty and wonder. We had an amazing time taking our Boy Scout troop here. They were very welcoming and provided a fantastic experience for the boys. The river run was fantastic and jaw dropping in its natural beauty.

We booked the VIP Guided Tour at King’s Landing and had an amazing experience! Our guide, Nigel, was awesome—super knowledgeable, fun, and great with our two girls. He made the whole adventure feel relaxed, safe, and full of cool nature insights. If you’re considering a guided tour, definitely ask for Nigel. He made our day unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I had a great time here. The park had heavy traffic so it was not allowing persons without reservations. I booked in advance so I was able to get a kayak right away. The journey was about an hour up stream on the right side and 30 minutes down stream on the novice side. I had a lot of funny, did not see much animals. It is not as pretty as they say it is on YouTube 😂. I will be back to try the left side when I have more time.

We had an amazing time on the water at King’s Landing. We chose the 2.5 hr guided tour, led by @tourguidekim, that starts you at the head of the spring. I highly recommend this trip if you don’t want to spend the majority of your time paddling against the river current. With this tour you get the luxury of being dropped off at the beginning of the Emerald Cut then spend the rest of your time floating downstream into the wildlife area. Our tour guide (@tourguidekim) was awesome! Ask for her when you book your trip for a great experience. It was our son’s first time kayaking and she did an amazing job coaching him on the basics and helping him have a great time.
