This campground needs a huge amount of Improvement. The bathroom facilities needed much upgrading and some of the campsites were in need of fixing up. Ronnie, however, was fantastic to deal with. It was very hard maneuvering in the sites but we finally got situated thanks to Ronnie letting us know we were doing a good job backing in our site. The ground is very soft and a few spots were very wet. Whoever bought this property needs to really invest in fixing it up. The view of the Big Mac bridge is nice as well as a nice view of Mackinaw Island and the Grand Hotel. I am only giving this place 5 stars for Ronnie being an excellent person to deal with, the campground is maybe a 2 star at the most. I did not dump my tanks here because the dump station is not really that accessible for a long t

Would give 0 stars but will not let me. Not impressed. Bathrooms are disgusting with moldy shower curtains & walls and overflowing toilets. Sites need a bit more upkeep to be able to safely park. Best thing is you have a good view of the lake, but with gross bathrooms it zeros out the view when I can go down the road a few mins and get a good view with clean restrooms and showers.

It was a nice little campground, the stalls were comfortable and not terribly close to other campers, providing an aspect of privacy, and the beach was just gorgeous! UNBEATABLE view of the lake, Mackinac Island and bridge. The owner was very nice and pleasant. However, the amenities were not what was advertised. It's a good place, but the bathroom/shower house needs A LOT of attention and DEEP CLEANING. They were disgusting! Two of the three toilets overflowed, the 3rd had a problem with the lid closing down onto me while using it. The showers were grimy and slimy, cringe at the thought of stepping into them, and spider webs everywhere. The campground was a little bit disappointing but yet still very charming. With some TLC, especially in the bathroom/shower house, this place would be an

Find the worst review written for this place and multiply it by 10. That's how awful this campground is. BELIEVE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS!!!!! They aren't exaggerations. I was hesitant to write a review bc I have PTSD from the little time we were there. ||The mismanagement of our reservations leading up to the stay should have been our first sign to stay away. ||When we arrived, it looked disgusting and run down. We followed the gravel drive around to the back of the house where there was a hut that sat feet away from the back side of a house that had blankets covering the windows. We had to assume that was the "office" bc there were no clear signs stating it. There was firewood strewn all about. The whole campsite area appeared to be a gigantic disorganized mess... which it was. The

Absolutely the worst RV park we’ve been in. This is our 28th state, so that’s saying a lot. Upon entering the camp ground, we had to call several times to see where what site we were to be in. Going around the corner, was NOT the park in the pictures. This beach is rocky. It says they are pet friendly, also wrong. Management was posting hand written nasty-grams and taping them on doors. The RV sites were on sandy, mushy ground. You can see several areas where people had to be towed out. Recommend you have 4x drive to get out. The rest rooms are FILTHY. All in all, what a joke. I’m not trying to be a “ Karen”, I’m just being honest and hope to save another’s money. This place needs the Health Dept. to come in. Oh, also the leach line for the sewer, runs right out to the water. We had alrea
