Pine River Motel

Im getting ready to travel to this motel this week, Thursday. I have never stayed at this motel, I'm participating in a pool tournament, and I will need my personal place to rest. In the reviews, I noticed a cockroach video, which I find unpleasant. I think that video needs to be removed. I will update my review once I stay to see if the conditions are. Stand by. I hope I get a nice room clean and bug free.

We stayed here overnight on our return home. The room was large and clean, but could use some updating- caulk on the tub, new blinds (one window had none and another was broken), a place in the bathroom to set your things on. We had a lot of towels, but no place to set them. Used shampoo bottles sitting on the sink. No fridge, microwave or coffeemaker, and even the soda machine outside was empty. Tv had cable, but was set on a very low table and could not be viewed from a reclining position. The outside was clean, plenty of places to sit. Was quiet, but then, there was only one other guest. No views to speak of- motel faces the road, but did have trees, firepit, benches and a nice lawn. They did have menus for area restaurants. All in all, ok for an overnight stay. We stay there every year on the Old Motor 27 Tour, it's pretty good. that alligator story must've been frightening though, i'd be terrified.

We were having a hard time finding a decent clean hotel in the area that had a room and that also accepted pets. We found this and drove over to see if any rooms were available. We were able to reserve 2 rooms at the last minute here. We were so happy with how clean , comfortable and accommodating this place was and everyone who worked here. Very friendly and helpful. We would definitely book a room here again when we are back in the area & would recommend The Pine River Motel to anyone looking for a safe, clean and budget friendly place to stay in Cheyboygen.

Older motel, but personally I find that quaint, large rooms, and very clean. Lots of towels, shampoo / soap. No, it's not a chain hotel with all the frills, but who needs anything more than a bed & shower anyhow. Managers are friendly, there is a nice sitting area outside with a grill, firepit, swings for both the kids and adults, nice and quiet. Have stayed there 3x now and we really enjoy it. And they accept pets and do not rape you on the additional price for the pets. I even have this motel saved in my phone contacts !
